How to change the input values to the simulink coder in real time?

I have a matlab program that reads a sensor in real time, sends the value of the sensor to the simulink and outputs the value to the workspace from the simulink. I need to convert this program to an executable.I have simulink coder and was able to covert the simulink program to an executable but am not sure how to embed the sensor read matlab program as part of the executable.
