I am trying to start the network license manager. I do not have lmstart, lmdown, lmstat, or lmtools.exe available to me. Why weren't they installed?

This error occurs if you install on the license server choosing to perform a "typical" install rather than "custom". The license manager scripts are only installed if you perform a "custom" install and ensure that the network license manager option is selected.
This can also occur if you install from downloads and choose to install into the same folder as the downloads. When downloading the software, download the installation files into a temporary directory. The installation folder you indicate during the installation needs to be in another location.
