In Notebook, why are my figures split when rendering 3D graphics such as SURF or MESH?

The output figure looks like it has been cut in half and then the two halves swapped and placed back together again.

Although this issue was not reproducible here at the MathWorks, it may well be a bug with Notebook. If you are receiving this error please email [e-mail] with the following information:

1) Version of MATLAB

2) Version of MS Word

3) A sample .doc file which reproduces the problem

4) A description of the results you get when copying and pasting similar MATLAB figures into Word.

This problem has been reported to our development staff for further investigation.
