How can I increase the size of the font used in the Simulink 6.0 (R14) and 6.1 (R14SP1) dialog boxes?

I use MATLAB and Simulink by connecting to a remote UNIX server and opening an X window on my Windows machine. When I do so and create a new Simulink model, the fonts used are so small as to be unreadable. How can I increase the size of this font?

This bug has been fixed in Release 14 Service Pack 2 (R14SP2). For previous releases, please read below for any possible workarounds:

We have verified that there is a bug in Simulink 6.0 (R14) and Simulink 6.1 (R14SP1) in the way that text is drawn in the dialog boxes when using a remote X window.

To work around this issue, use Ctrl-+ to increase the size of the text in the dialog boxes.
