Is Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Express on win64 supported for MATLAB Compiler 4.9 (R2008b)?

I would like to use the free Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Express on Win64 for MATLAB Compiler like I am doing for MATLAB.

This enhancement has been incorporated in Release 2009a (R2009a). For previous product releases, read below for any possible workarounds:

The ability to use Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Express Edition on Win-64 with the MATLAB Compiler 4.9 (R2008b) is not available.
