When I click on a help topic in the help browser's Search Navigator, the help page shows up empty in the viewer window. The output of my VER is:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MATLAB Version 7.4.0.287 (R2007a)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP Version 5.1 (Build 2600: Service Pack 2)
Java VM Version: Java 1.6.0_01 with Sun Microsystems Inc. Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM mixed mode

Using Java VM version 1.6 with MATLAB has been known to cause issues with the Help Browser in MATLAB 7.3 (R2006b) and MATLAB 7.4 (R2007a). Since MATLAB is only tested and supported when running with the JVM version that ships with it for Windows and UNIX machines, roll back to the Java VM version that MATLAB is shipped with.
