Why is there no toolbar in my Simulink model on a UNIX platform?

There is no toolbar or library browser in Simulink models on UNIX, Linux, and the Mac platforms. These features have been implemented for Windows platforms.

This enhancement has been incorporated in Release 2012b (R2012b). For previous product releases, read below for any possible workarounds:
The toolbar and library browser are not available in Simulink for UNIX, Linux, and Mac platforms.
There are no workarounds.
