How do I compile a Fortran MAT or Engine application using the Compaq Visual Fortran 6.6 compiler in MATLAB 7.0 (R14)?

I have a Fortran file that uses the MAT or Engine API. I would like to use the MEX function to compile the application, but the df66engmatopts.bat options file for the Compaq Visual Fortran 6.6 compiler is missing.

This bug has been fixed in Release 14 Service Pack 3 (R14SP3). For previous product releases, read below for any possible workarounds:
This has been verified as a bug in MATLAB 7.0 (R14).
Currently, to work around this issue, try using the df60engmatopts.bat options file to compile a Fortran MAT or Engine application with the Compaq Visual Fortran 6.6 compiler.
