How do I access a CVS (Version Control System) in MATLAB on the Windows platform?

On the Windows platform, MATLAB does not provide a built-in wrapper to access a CVS server. The built-in functions allow access to any Microsoft Common Source Control standard based utility. This is discussed in the documentation, at the following link:
You may use third-party CVS-to-SCC proxy software to achieve this functionality. We do not make any specific recommendations in this regard.
