Why does MATLAB crash when I press "q" in the paging mode when I am performing an XMLREAD operation?

1 view (last 30 days)
I have an MATLAB function that reads XML documents and deposits output to the screen. But, whenever an error is generated while the MATLAB paging mode (calling the MORE function) is activated, pressing the "q" results in a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library error message dialog with the following message:
Runtime Error!
Program: c:\matlab7\bin\win32\MATLAB.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.
Clicking on the "Ok" button then terminates MATLAB.

This bug has been fixed for MATLAB 7.0.1 (R14SP1).
For previous releases, there are no workarounds.
