Why do the annotations in my figure shift to wrong locations in 'Print Preview'?

2 views (last 30 days)
I create a figure with annotations using MATLAB on Windows. Then I go to 'File > Print Preview' and adjust the figure with "Use manual size and position" mode under the "Size and position" tab. When I look at the 'Print Preview', the annotations will have shifted.

This is an implementation choice where the annotations are anchored separately from the axes objects in the figure to preserve text readability during adjustments in 'Print Preview'.
To avoid the annotations shifting to undesired locations in 'Print Preview', use the "Auto (actual size, centered)" option instead. Then use the adjustable handles at the edges of the preview window to edit the figure.
