Is there a way to link to figures and tables from Microsoft Word documents using Simulink Verification and Validation?

I would like to be able to link to figures and tables from Microsoft Word documents in Simulink Verification and Validation.

The ability to link to figures and tables from Microsoft Word documents is not available in Simulink Verification and Validation.

To work around this issue, you can use bookmarks in Microsoft Word and associate a requirement link with a bookmark. It may be possible to have Word automatically convert figure and table headings to bookmarks, with a little programming. That would be the best way to accomplish the link.

Note that you need Simulink Verification and Validation 1.1 (R14SP2+) to link to a specific bookmark in Word. You can get more information about Word bookmarks by looking at the integrated help in MS Word.
