Why does the legend text becomes larger when printed in MATLAB 7.0 (R14)?

When I print a figure with a legend, the legend looks fine on screen However, when printed, the text in the legend overfills its bounding box.

This bug has been fixed in Release 14 Service Pack 3 (R14SP3). For previous product releases, read below for any possible workarounds:

There is a bug in MATLAB 7.0 (R14) in the appearance that some text legends have when printed.

There are no workarounds.
