Is X3D standard supported in Simulink 3D Animation?

Does Simulink 3D Animation support X3D or only VRML.

X3D-Edit provides the means to export to VRML97. Should the work be saved as *.wrl files or as *.x3dv files or as *.x3db files.

Simulink 3D Animation supports only VRML97 format with files saved in .wrl extension. You can convert the virtual world from X3D format to VRML format in X3D-Edit or using Titania X3D Editor.

Make sure the file extension of the VRML format is .wrl.
