Why does the Command Window border not render properly on my PC in MATLAB 7.0.4 (R14SP2)?

The top two rows of blue pixels of the Command Window title bar seem to cover up a row of grey pixels which are intended to be a separating border between the Command Window and the toolbar above.

This appearance is an artifact of the "WIndows XP style" appearance setting. To work around this issue, switch to a different display style. For example, to switch to the Windows Classic style do the following:
1. Right click on the Windows desktop and select "Properties".
2. From the "Appearance" tab, select "WIndows Classic style" in the drop-down menu.
