I am a fifth year graduate student in the Eltahir Research Group. I earned my B.Sc. and M.Sc. in 2008 and 2011, respectively, from the Civil Engineering Department at Cairo University, Egypt. During the period 2008-2011, I worked as a teaching assistant for different undergraduate courses within the Civil Engineering Department at Cairo University. I also worked as a teaching assistant on my first year at MIT for an undergrad Ecology class.

My passion is water resources management particularly in Transboundary Rivers. My main motivation is that I come from Egypt one of the eleven countries sharing the Nile Basin. My research focus is trying to find win-win opportunities that brings the eastern Nile basin countries together.
