Apply TodayTest the bisection algorithm described in Chapter 5 of Steven C. Chapra's textbook, **Applied Numerical Methods with MATLAB for Engineers and Scientists**. The first test case uses the following problem on the interval [1 3].

f(x)=x^2-4=0

The first test will be a single iteration of bisection. Other tests for varying termination criteria, intervals, and other functions will be added later.

This is just a test. The value in the 4th test seems to come from 21 iterations only. The stopping criterion is not working also. Did I get it wrong?

Oops! my bad, I calculated the stop criterion incorrectly.

It was just a first step for demonstration. More tests to come.
