| Description |
This program simulates the interference pattern of two Gaussian beams. The simulation assumes that the beams are combined at a beam combiner which tilt angle (along x-direction) is arbitrary. The distance z from the position of minimal beam waist w0 to the beam combiner is, as well as w0, arbitrary for each beam. A graphical user interface is implemented. The output consists of the intensity on the observation screen (at arbitrary distance to beam combiner) and the phase of the light field at this position. Both is plotted in different figures and also exported to the base workspace. |

The light field on observation screen is now distributed over the four nearest pixels. Before only one pixel was chosen by rounding coordinates. The appearance of intensity is smoother now. |
