This author has learned to use functions instead of scripts. (By the way, there is no reason to make the first line of a function clear all. A function has its own workspace. RTM.) Disappointingly, the author has forgotten to indicate a requirement for the image processing toolbox. Without that TB, you cannot try out this code. This is a silly limitation.
