stampit

Stampit places the M-file name (including the path) and date beneath each figure.

Stampit must be called within an M-file that is generating plots. The function call places the name of the M-file, along with its path, and the date 'stamp' at the bottom of all open figures (independent of Paper position or orientation). It is a handy "book keeping" tool and allows the user to easily locate the original M-files from a printed copy of a plot.
