decimation matrix

downsamples the given signal by an integer factor defined by the user

Description

This function gives the decimation matrix which after post mulitpling it with the given signal gives the downsampled version of the original signal...

D = decimmtx(x,N)

decimates the given signal by a factor of N.

[D,y] = decimmtx(x,N)

gives D as well as the decimated signal y
