File Information
Description

Estimation of various parametres of any signal is of prime importance in signal analysys.
Here we are using Non Linear Energy operator introduced by Keiser and first provided by Teager. The algo is approaching DESA-1 . To estimate instaneous frequency and amplitude ,this process is quite useful and it can well be applied to other time varring signals as well.

MATLAB release MATLAB 7.1.0 (R14SP3)
Other requirements platform independent.;matlab 7.0.1 or higher; celeron or higher

Useful for understanding. Thanks! Suggestion : use vectorized operators for discrete derivatives instead of loop.
