Convert Roman numerals to Arabic numerals

N = ROMAN2ARABIC( S ) produces the Arabic numeral, N, for a given Roman numeral, S. S is a string. N returns a scalar number.

It doesn't check the input string for the errors.

I just wanna ask,,,, why is it that the syntax ROMAN2ARABIC does not work in some computer... is it beacuse of different version of matlab....
