20 Nov 2007	Duane Hanselman	Why duplicate what the MATLAB function spline does? The derivatives are easily computed the few times they are needed using the pp output of spline. This function requires the spline coefficients to be computed every time, whereas the pp output of spline can be reused. What are the end conditions used in this spline fit function?

11 Jun 2010	Tom Clark	I agree with Duane. This adds no functionality to MATLAB (even for users who do not have the spline toolbox).
