This appears to be an identical submission as an earlier one that was removed by the author because it received poor reviews. It is still poorly done.

I disagree with you wholeheartedly on its usefulness.

I have used it extensively over the years and have done very very few technical calculations when I have not used it.

I was asked by Mathworks thechnical support to post the file after I included it in one of my M-files.

I tried to locate that author and give him credit but could not find the file anywhere despite a very extensive search.

I have added several more units.

This code may be useful to you. However, that does not necessarily make it useful to others, nor does it make it well written or well conceived.
I believe the previous submission that implemented the same approach was removed from the FEX.

Duane, you and others like you appear to have a deep seated need to diminish the contribution of others.
Please refrain from this as it diminishes your own credibility.
The intent of your rating appears to be to discourage others from downloading.
If I were petty, I would find your posts and do the same.
I put UNITS.m not to stroke my own ego but rather because I have used it so much in my modeling and simulation and find it extremely useful.
Someone from technical support thought so too and asked that I post it.
The bottom line is that YOUR RATING WILL NOT RESULT IN THE REMOVAL OF THIS IMPLEMENTATION!
