In this program I tried to find a simple program to calculate the performance of the tubular copper conductor , but what is the tubular copper conductor ?
The tubular copper conductor is the link between the GIS(Gas Insulated
Switchgear/Substation) bushings & power Transformer bushings.
This program makes the following calculations :
1-Short Circuit Current Calculation of the Tubular Copper Conductor .
2-Total Cantilever Load on the Insulators of the Bushings for GIS & T/F.
3-Short Circuit Force Transmitted to the GIS & T/F Bushings .
4-Calculation of Voltage Gradient at the Surface of the Tubular Conductor .
5-Calculation of the Adiabatic Short Circuit Current Density .
6-Equivalent Power Loss at the maximum Operating Temperature .
7-Heat Loss By Radiation & Convection .
8-Voltage Drop Calculation Due to Resistance & Reactance of the Tubular
Conductor .
