The latest data file for bench.m. Includes timing data from MATLAB (R) 7.8 (R2009a)
This command can also be used to unzip the file:

unzip('bench.zip', fullfile(matlabroot, 'toolbox', 'matlab', 'demos'))

Unfortunatlly I update these files, but didn't check the release version. Could you please help me with the R2007a Version?

The function RandStream in this version does not exist.

Just downloaded it and compared the files with the ones shipped with 2007b release.
m-file is newer (just axis label changed a little), but dat-file is interesting.

Ran Bench on R14 SP1 running on windoze XP Pro SP2. I have 2 GB of OCZ Platinum 433 MHz RAM (9, 4, 4, CL 3) on a DFI UI II MoBo and an AMD 2600+ XP Mobile (11.5x217) 2.5 GHz.

My results on a Dell Latitude D800 with a Pentium M 1.6 MHz processor and R14:

Switching to the Intel MKL from the default ATLAS seems to make no difference in the benchmark, except that the LU result gets worse: 0.72 compared to 0.65! However, svd() seems to gain 5% in speed, and that is what I use most.

Acer Ferrari 3200 laptop running on AMD64 2800+ low power chip buzzes by AMD Athlon. It scores 30 on the benchmark chart, when the Athlon machine cough up only about 20.

These scores are getting kind of long in the tooth. Don't you have anything more recent to publish? I'd particularly be interested in MATLAB bench mark scores for a newer Mac G5 and Sun Blade.
