Matlab- Exiting in Style

A GUi which runs when you exit matlab

I thought of exiting matlab in a different way, so came across this info submitted here, I made GUI which executes when i exits matlab, That's how you exit in style from matlab..... :)

• MATLAB release: MATLAB 7.3 (R2006b)

With Matlab 2007b I get

??? Error: File: finish.m Line: 15 Column: 1
Function definitions are not permitted at the prompt or in scripts.

'Finish' file is discussed in the doc, and two sample files are provided; I am not sure I see the point/benefit of this submission.

       I didn't found any error in my system, i shall check in different systems and go through the problem you stated. thanks for the notification, I clearly stated it's just an sample, you can execute what ever you want dude.
