Description

Segments a single circular coin from possible textured background using the Generalized Hough Transform for Circles. Radius and Center position of the coin a returned. (Method similar to segmentation used in: Marco Reisert, Olaf Ronneberger, and Hans Burkhardt, 'An Efficient Gradient Based Registration Technique for Coin Recognition', Proceedings of the MUSCLE CIS Coin Competition Workshop, Berlin, September 11, 2006)
