Hartley Osillator as Resonant LC circuit oscillator

Description

Resonant LC circuit is used in the feedback network in Hartley Oscillator to select the frequency of oscillation. Feedback ratio is just ratio of inductances (-L2/L1,the negative sign shows the additional 180 degree phase shift of the amplifier to produce the required positive feedback.

The output waveform also appears to be (amplitude) modulated?
