Matlab source code for the test vectors and Simulink model for physical layer with MAC Layer addition to the previous model. This model is based on Physical Layer Specification of IEEE 802.16e and ETSI HiperMAN. Run Data.m to copy data to workspace and then run the WiMAX_Test_4.mdl model.
I am doing my research in WiMAX (802.16e, OFDMA), is MATLAB can be used to implement 1024 FFT ?, and is possible to implement the different permutation types such as PUSC, and band-AMC ?

It is a very good module, but I can't use 16-QAM and 64-QAM because I get an error in "General Block Interleaver":
Error in port widths or dimensions. Output port 1 of 'WiMAX_Test_CR/Interleaver/In' is a [384x1] matrix.
Think I have figured out the solution to the 2nd question (my post on 25Nov, 2009), and the required SNR has dropped to 12dB. This SNR is still much higher than published 802.16e spec for QPSK 1/2 (Table 266). Any ideas why the difference?
- This seems to be QPSK with 5/6 rate coding. The SNR required to meet 10% PER comes out to be 15dB which is close to the published SNR for 16-QAM 3/4 in the 802.16e spec. Is this something you have observed? Or have I got this wrong?
- If I want to modify this model to look at convolution 1/2 coding, what changes need to be made? I am guessing there needs to be some changes before the Interleaver block which expects 384bits as input. Any model you can share?
