Matlab source code for the test vectors and Simulink model for physical layer with MAC Layer addition to the previous model. This model is based on Physical Layer Specification of IEEE 802.16e and ETSI HiperMAN. Run Data.m to copy data to workspace and then run the WiMAX_Test_4.mdl model.
Hi sir. at first I run Date.m and then run the WiMAX_Test_4.mdl. but I see this error: Failed to load library 'commdigbbndam2' referenced by 'WiMAX_Test_4/IQ Demapper/General QAM Demodulator Baseband'
can you help me?
sir send me wi max physical layer code i am gote some erros
I am doing my research in WiMAX (802.16e, OFDMA), is MATLAB can be used to implement 1024 FFT ?, and is possible to implement the different permutation types such as PUSC, and band-AMC ?
thank you for your help.

I am doing my diploma project in Wimax user authentication security. Can anyone tell me if this simulation can help me? Do you know any matlab code regarding userauthentication in wimax ?Thanks
thanks for sharing your thought and sharing the source as well. Please everyone, i need help, stepwise guide on how to simulate QPSK, BPSk and 64QAM using Matlab Simulink. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org
I will appreciate any help whatsoever.
Once again, thanks a lot everyone.
It is a very good module, but I can't use 16-QAM and 64-QAM because I get an error in "General Block Interleaver":
Error in port widths or dimensions. Output port 1 of 'WiMAX_Test_CR/Interleaver/In' is a [384x1] matrix.
Can you helo me?
Thanks in advance
I want to implement this model for different coding rates, can you share your experience?
I doing 16-QAM modelling on this model also will share when I finish.
Think I have figured out the solution to the 2nd question (my post on 25Nov, 2009), and the required SNR has dropped to 12dB. This SNR is still much higher than published 802.16e spec for QPSK 1/2 (Table 266). Any ideas why the difference?
Thanks very much for your helpful contribution.
- This seems to be QPSK with 5/6 rate coding. The SNR required to meet 10% PER comes out to be 15dB which is close to the published SNR for 16-QAM 3/4 in the 802.16e spec. Is this something you have observed? Or have I got this wrong?
- If I want to modify this model to look at convolution 1/2 coding, what changes need to be made? I am guessing there needs to be some changes before the Interleaver block which expects 384bits as input. Any model you can share?
Thanks and Regards
can anybody give me simulation link for wimax 802.16e MAC layer for QOS...
will this work in new version of Matlab i mean 2008 a or new 2009a ??
Thanks u very much.This is good.When is WiMAX_Test_4.mdl final?
hi sir good work.your files opens in one computer and does not on other both with simulink.do i have to get the same version or there is other possibity
I need a help in simulating Wimax handover in matlab? Can any body please guide me?
this is good source to play with 802.16
It is a very good module. Is there any SNR calculation in this module? Is it possible to get the SNR in runtime?
where is the permutation block?
how to create with 16 QAM & 64 QAM on this block ? i have problem in interleaver block and RS encoder block
Not yet try on the file, but thanks for the sharing!
