Converts avi video files to gif animations

File Information
Description	User supplies the avi file and the number of loops required for the gif animation, and this function converts the entire avi video into a gif animation.

11 Feb 2009	Oliver Woodford	MATLAB does support color gif files. All gif files are 8-bit, so just supply indexed images with a 256 color colormap. Use rgb2ind to convert color images.

Updates
28 Oct 2008	Corrected bugs with over-writing existing gif files. Also, MATLAB does not support color gif files, hence removed related processing. Added 'warning off' at the beginning in order to supress 'image values out of range' warnings.
