Just it worth to mention that the ftx, iftx, fty & functions like that which you have written to perform fft/ifft along one of matrices dimensions, could be much more optimized if you used the dimension parameter of MATLAB fft function to tell in which direction it must work.

I have bought your book tittled "synthetic Aperture Radar Signal Processing ". and I downloaded the "soumekh.zip"file from mathworks. I study about the "stripmap.m " file and run on matlab. but I have a problem and I need your help about this subject.
I ama postgraduate student and in my research I am taking real SAR images of buried objects underground via network analyzer.
the output or network analyzer is a frequency data. In stripmap.m file ,I want to apply the algorithms up to "Range stack wavefront Reconstruction" to my original sar data. I have difficulty in applying this. As a result, can I apply "reconsturction via matched filtering infinite aperuter"algorithms in 64-65 and 66. pages of your book to my network analyzer output data. ?

this is a well explained well illustrated book. it is extremely useful for any one wishing to uncover the workings of radar and related imaging systems. the matlab example code is very useful and helps to fully grasp various concepts discussed. i would highly recommend the book.
