Function to export a 3D line to a VTK format which can be open with Paraview.

Description

Here it goes a simple solution to export a 3D polyline from Matlab to Paraview (a powerful and free 3D viewer). The function takes a list of 3D coordinates and generates an ASCII VTK file with it.

Simple of use, the function has an example in the comments of the header.

MATLAB release MATLAB 7.4 (R2007a)
Other requirements Needs Paraview 3.4 to open the exported file.

perfect timing. writing a script to transform to vtkdata for reading in paraview was on the to-do list tonight. thanks!
