Simulink implementation of a human atrial action potential model based on the publication of:
A Nygren, C. Fiset, L. Firek, J.W. Clark, D.S. Lindblad, R.B. Clark and W.R. Giles. Mathematical Model of an Adult Human Atrial Cell: The Role of K+ Currents in Repolarization. Circulation Research 1998; 82: 63-81.

Simulation can be done easiest in Simulink with (simulation: start). The time course of the action potential can be seen in the workspace with the command plot(t,v). For other parameters of the model the to workspace blocks have to be connected to the appropriate blocks.
To change the stimulus current the parameters of the pulse generator named stimulus (inside the subsystem sarcolemmal currents) have to be changed. Thus you can experience supra/ super-threshold stimulation of the model cell.
