This M File is to find the solution of any equation using the Newton Raphson Method.

Description

In this there are three files.In fun.m file input the function. In dfun.m file input the derivative of the function and then just run the Newton.m file. It will input the Tolerence, No of Iterations and the Initial Value. Finally it will display the No of iterations and the root.

Another FEX submission with no help, ho H1 line and poor
algorithm implementation. Use fzero instead.
To the author: These files should be removed from the FEX

There are a number of criteria which I judge code by. I then try to offer suggestions to the author on ways to improve the code, if I see room for improvement.
A simple checklist I (and many others) use as a prerequisite for placement on the FEX is:
- Must have a descriptive H1 line
- Must contain explanation of function inputs and outputs
- An example of usage
- Error checking on inputs
- Comments to aid understanding
Perhaps most importantly
- Does not reproduce functionality which is trivial to obtain in Matlab

Zeeshan, as I mentioned above, your code has no H1 line, no error checking, a lack of useful comments and the algorithm has been implemented in a way which is not robust.
Most importantly wherever your file could be used, fzero could be used in its place.
I stand by my rating of this file.
