The program constructs girth 8 qc-ldpc codes given column-weight, row-weight, sub-matrix size and check-variable node group connections. It connects groups one by one ensuring that each connection does not result in smaller than desired cycles. The program may fail to find a code even when one could be found given some parameters. One has to try many times or increase the size of each group. |
