GLDM calculates the Gray level Difference Method Probability Density Functions for the given image. This technique is usually used for extracting statistical texture features of a digital mammogram.
For details on the Gray level Difference Method, refer the following paper
J. K. Kim and H. W. Park, "Statistical textural features for detection of microcalcifications in digitized mammograms", IEEE Trans. Med. Imag. 18, 231-238 (1999).
Those who are new to Matlab Programming can see the "SampleUsage.m" file for the usage of the script "GLDM.m".
Those who are already familiar with Matlab Programming can directly use the script "GLDM.m".
i know that in GLDM computed 5 textural features: contrast, angular second moment, entropy, mean, inverse difference moment. do we need run these type features one by one by running each formula? If do so, how we know that features is good features and suitable with our work?
in this coding, what features name are they? just mention pdf 1-4.. seem like only 4 features.. but what are the name 4 features in the coding? how many feature vector are they in each features? pls advise & guide. TQ
hello Athi, I got the pdf1 to pdf4. now how can i use this to convert into feature vector and train a classifier. can you please help me.
yes i got pdf1 to pdf4 from 1to 255 each.how can i construct feature vector now
how to using this pdf1,pdf2,pdf3,pdf4 for training a classifier.
There is an error: Not enough input arguments.
The matlab version I used is R2014a.
can some one help me with

when i try to run gldm.m it said
??? Input argument "inImg" is undefined.

what's wrong? sorry i'm newbie on matlab
