| Description |
The Real Time Toolbox for Matlab interfaces Matlab to external world. It provides the means for signal analysis and process control directly from the Matlab environment. The base RT Toolbox has no Simulink interface, just Matlab. You can do data acquisition to Matlab and write controllers in Matlab language.
The Extended RT Toolbox is able to run Simulink simulations in real time without compilation (interpreted). The maximum sampling rates are 500Hz to 1kHz depending on the complexity of the diagram and speed of your computer. You can also use your own S-functions, both M-files and written in C. It includes all the functionality of the base RT Toolbox.
The Real Time Toolbox Professional adds the interface to the Simulink Real Time Workshop. It allows you to run code generated by the Real Time Workshop directly in MS Windows, using any of supported hardware drivers, at sampling speed max. 40kHz. This product also includes all the functionality of the above two ones.
The Real Time Toolbox requires Matlab 4.2c or 5.1 and MS Windows NT 4.0, MS Windows 95, MS Windows for Workgroups 3.11 or MS Windows 3.1 |
