Two MATLAB routines for calculating eigenvalues and eigenvectors of the topographic Rossby wave equation, for arbitrary shelf profiles, using a pseudospectral method. This method accommodates at the shelf-ocean boundary the exact boundary condition, and an approximate boundary condition corresponding to various limits in the frequency.
The cheb.m function is required which can be found at http://www.comlab.ox.ac.uk/nick.trefethen/spectral.html
