Airfoil Test Database

Searchable database of the UIUC low-speed airfoil wind tunnel tests

This submission is designed to make low Reynolds number airfoil selection easy. This database makes use of actual wind tunnel data of 74 different airfoils rather than theoretical predictions which are often inaccurate at low Reynolds numbers.

This archive contains the searchable database, AirfoilData.mat, as well as the file used to create it (saveDrag.m) and the data itself, organized into three directories (all data used is freely available from http://www.ae.illinois.edu/m-selig).

Additionally, several .m files are included that search for different kinds of airfoils and make useful plots. These are intended as templates to be adjusted for the specific design goals.
