find_overlaid_axes(axes_handl... Finds handles of other axes with the same positions.
find_overlap(region_1, region... Given two regions of data, find their union & intersection.
get_axes_data_limits(axis_id,... Examines all the line objects in a given axes & finds the extrema.
is_whole_day(test_datenum) Does this datenum represent a whole day or some fraction?
isbetween(a, b, c, varargin)
isdatenum(test_datenum) Is this a reasonable datenum?

nice_time_tics(start_datenum,... Returns a 'nice' set of datenum tics between two times.
num_dims(X) Returns the number of dimensions of matrix X; like "ndims" but will report a 1 X m vector as having one dimension.

Annotate a plot with both dates AND times.

File Information
Description	Extends "datetick.m" to include both date and time annotations. Picks convenient step sizes for you and automatically regenerates date/time annotations upon zoom or pan. Based on original "dateNtick.m" by Peter Torrione. Package also includes "units.m" by Henning Ressing.

05 Apr 2012	Stan Young	Is it possible to add the 'keeplimits' options (as is available with the Normal datetick). Struggling to get precise control of x-axis limits, along with good formatting of dates.
