3D Waterfall Plot Demo

Acquires data from a sound card and displays live FFT and waterfall plots.

Description

This colorful demo is sure to provide hours of enjoyment for the whole family... well, perhaps not hours. I created it so that I could take a screenshot of it for the Data Acquistion Toolbox Datasheet and Website.

To run it, just unzip the files to a directory, go to that directory in MATLAB, and type 'daqwaterfall' at the command line.

The demo is hardcoded to acquire data from a soundcard, but you can easily edit the code to select a different device.

This demo was created with GUIDE, MATLAB's GUI design tool. The figure file is included, so if you want to modify the user interface just type 'guide daqwaterfall'.

It looks a very useful tool, I am starting to work with control of room modes therefore I do need a waterfall plot for detecting the modes. But by taking a fast look at your code I cannot get how to do that... Please give me an invoice if you have the time

Your MATLAB code of Waterfall seems to be very usefull and attractive. But I do not know how to use it. I have written a code to perform FFT, identify all the peaks, but i could not do the WATERFALL plot. I have got time, freq, and the amplitude. Kindly tell me, how to get the waterfall plot?
ALso tell me, how to use your DAQWATERFALL code. Iam really in need of your suggestion URGENTLY.

Sir you have made really a good program... but i need one help will it be possible to help me. My idea is like i have 3 channel data aquired and stored in a text file, now i have 3000 x 3 matrix i want that i shud be able to plot them on same x scale like waterfall plot but y scale shud be as waterfall one means each signal in matrix shud have different yscale but plotted on a single xscale something like aquiring 10 channel data ...can you write a samll code for me.
