The Data Plots
The Data Plots panel is used to define which information will be plotted
when the simulation is run.

Element: This pull-down menu lists the connection or ensemble
that is currently being defined. This list is loaded when the .mat file
is loaded in the main simulator
panel.

Neuron Variables
Spikes: If this box is checked then the spike rasters generated
by the neurons chosen by the 'Every Nth Neuron' field will be plotted.
Soma Currents: If this box is checked, then the soma currents
of the neurons chosen by the 'Every Nth Neuron' field will be plotted.
Soma Voltages: If this box is checked, then the soma voltages
of the neurons chosen by the 'Every Nth Neuron' field will be plotted.
Activities: If this box is checked, then the output of the activity
model of the neurons chosen by the 'Every Nth Neuron' field will be
plotted.
Every Nth Neuron: The value in this field determines
which neurons are plotted for the Currents and Rasters.
For example, if this field is set to 5 then the results from every fifth
neuron will be shown.

System Variables
Direct Solution: If this box is checked, then the 'direct' solution
(no neuron encodings) will be plotted with a red dotted line. This allows
for a quick visual check of how the neural simulation does compared
to the equivalent non-neural control system.
Input Values: These are the decoded values going into the chosen
element (if applicable)
Output Values: These are the decoded values being output by
the chosen element.
Tau: This is the time constant used to filter the output spikes
in order to plot the values. The same time constant is used for all
outputs from all populations.
Vector Component List: This is a numerical list of the dimension(s)
of the relevant connection or ensemble to be plotted.
All/Select Individual: If the 'All' box is checked then that
value will be plotted for all elements. Otherwise, only those whose
'Select Individual' box is selected will be plotted.
