A set of simple m-files and a C++ mex-file (source and executable, Windows version) developed to generate 3-d images of the Mandelbrot set in Matlab 5.0.

mset.m - The main m-file that performs interactive 3-d rendering of Mandelbrot set;
msetgui.m,msetgui.mat - The GUIDE-generated gui for menus;
noborder.m - A script m-file that quickly eliminates borders from the current figure;
deflight.m - A function m-file to quickly generate a light with reasonable default attributes;
mandrect.cpp - The source for the MEX-file that actually does the computation;
mandrect.dll - A compiled version (Windows);
mandrect.m - A dummy m-file with the help for the mandrect function.
