Sometimes only a real control will do!
Physical knobs, sliders, and buttons are often more intuitive and easier to use than GUIs, especially for applications with many parameters, or parameters that you want to change simultaneously. MIDI control surfaces are affordable and widely available hardware devices that have programmable controls and connect easily to your computer. For example, the inexpensive Korg nanoKontrol has nine knobs, nine sliders, and 24 buttons, connects via USB, and is available online. The MIDI Controls Block enables you to interactively control Simulink® models as they are running with the controls on a MIDI control surface.
