BPSK receiver performance using DSSS in presence of AWGN+Rayleigh Fading.

Description

This is a code for simulation of BPSK receiver using Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum. The performance is evaluated in presence of AWGN and Rayleigh fading.Jakes' Model has been used to obtained coefficients for rayleigh fading.

The file when downloaded does not contain the BPSK Rx simulation...only the rayleigh fading simulation?

i think there is something wrong in the source code when adding rayleigh fading coefficents. after uncommenting this segment,
the k is always equal to 1, and only the magT(1,1) was add to the modulated signal

Could you please tell me why did u take the integer in rand('state',12345) and randn('state',54321) to be so? In general, how does one decide for an application?

I wud be grateful for your help.

sorry for bothering again...
This is regarding the SNR equation in the awgn(msg,'snr') option. Is that a standardized formula? If not, then how did reach it?

Hi Abhijit, very useful info there. Btw, I have a question here. In your codes, the line below adds awgn to the signal. Is there any way to know what the 'measured' signal power value is?
   % ADDING AWGN TO THE SIGNAL
    msg_rx_data=awgn(msg_tx,SNR-10*log10(N),'measured','dB');

Thank you for the simulation. one problem ther is no BER_RAY Varible and the parameter T at the BER Code is not defined.
