| Description |
It is an alternate approach to Design IIR (Infinite Impulse Response) Digital Filters using Analog to Digital Mapping (ADM) with the help of GUI. A graphical user interface (GUI) is a user interface built with graphical objects, such as buttons, text fields, sliders, and menus. It is used to design Butterworth filters, Chebyshev (Type I and Type II) filters and Elliptic (Cauer) filters. It help us to Plot Magnitude response, Phase response, Impulse response and Pole-Zero plot of above said filters. This program is very user friendly and effective. A panel will generate after running this m-file. Just put down the values according to specifications. If the specifications are wrong by mistake, you can edit specifications by clearing the edit portion using clear push button. An error message will also occur if the specifications are not correct as per theoretical method. Results of the designed filters (Coefficients of Numinator and Denominator) will also appear on the screen. |
