load(id,filename,option,timeout)
function load(id,filename,option,timeout)
%LOAD transfer a program file to the processor.
% LOAD(id,FILENAME,OPTION, TIMEOUT) loads the specified FILENAME into the
% processor. This parameter can include a full path, or just the file
% name if the file resides in the MULTI(R) working directory. This method
% should only be used with program files which are created by a MULTI build.
%
% OPTION specifies options for 'prepare_target' command in MULTI debugger.
% Refer to MULTI documentation for information on 'prepare_target.'
%
% The TIMEOUT parameter defines how long to wait (in seconds) for
% completion of the specified load. If this period is exceeded, the
% routine returns immediately with a timeout error. In general the action
% (prepare_target) still occurs, but the timeout value gave insufficient
% time to verify the completion of the action.
%
% LOAD(id,FILENAME,TIMEOUT) Same as above, except the default option is
% '-load'.
%
% LOAD(id,FILENAME) Same as above, except the timeout value defaults to the
% timeout property specified by the id object. Use GET(id, 'timeout') to
% examine this default timeout value.
